Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..." (Matthew 19:14)

Flatwoods Kids exist to come alongside parents to help disciple their children by pointing them to King Jesus.  Our Flatwoods Kids ministry includes children from nursery - 6th grade.  These foundational years are so important.  We make it our aim to partner with parents as they instill in their children an understanding of the one true gospel.  Ministries and programs are not the goal. We strive to help parents build a gospel-centered foundation for kids.

NURSERY - KINDERGARTEN

In our Preschool ministry, we strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. Our nursey is staffed by seasoned volunteers who provide a safe and loving atmosphere.  With preschool we teach from the Scriptures and help parents proclaim to their kids who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ.  We strive to create a safe, healthy, and loving environment while children can experience the love of Jesus.

ELEMENTRY (1st - 4th)

For our Elementry age we build a strong, gospel-centered foundation while having fun. We do this by teaching about who God is and what He has done in the Bible.

We provide Sunday School on Sundays at 9am.  Here kids learn in age specific groups where the Word of God is held high.  

On Wednesdays children are part of an exciting time of singing, dancing, games, stories, and more while learning the incredible truth of the Bible.  We partner with families in discipleship by creating fun environments, engaging curriculum, and helpful resources that center on the gospel of Jesus Christ.

MIDDLESCHOOL (5th-6th)

The Cave (5th–6th grade) seeks to make disciples of middle school students who love God and love people. We accomplish this by partnering with parents as the primary disciple makers in their homes and by creating intentional environments where students can have fun, connect with friends, and be formed as disciples of Jesus Christ.  Sunday School is a time for students to learn dynamic Biblical truth.  On Wednesdays students are engaged in a fun environment that challenges their belief and trust in King Jesus.
